Extreme in Queens

Pretty much loving Queenstown. As well as having mental and dangerous activities, it's a cracking place for scenery, bars and restaurants. Not to mention the extreme sport of mini golf! Did I mention we enjoyed white water rafting.

Vroom Vroom

Admittedly proud of the email we've just received to pay a speeding fine we seem to have got blasting along the great ocean road on 28th Jan in Oz, thought it wouldn't be long till we clocked one. $134. He he.

Looking hot but cool on the Franz Joseph glacier in the South Island of NZ. :)

Wellington

Wellington, New Zealand's Capital city, very small. It sort of reminds me of a mini Hong Kong in terms of geography, lots of buildings crammed into a relatively tiny flat bit of land before the water and then hills behind.

We are here for a couple of days before getting the ferry across to the South Island and in what seems to be typical for us on this trip we decided to go drinking in a suburb of the city rather than the city centre. We might try out the city centre tonight.

It has lots of curry houses though so things are looking good.

Maggot poo

More wetsuit action for you all - this time we went black water rafting, which is sitting in a rubber ring floating through a cave. We did this to see the glow worms. We were lied too. There are no glow worms, just maggots that produce glowing poo. Bastards.

:) actually it was a lot of fun, jumping backwards off waterfalls in the dark was brilliant and we didn't manage to drown each other.
