The Running Man

In a piece of Sky inspired nostalgia (it happened to be on) I watched the Running Man last night - the first 18 film I saw. Now it may be that in the decade that has passed since I last watched it and perhaps I have become less squimish, but I'm not really sure why it is an 18, there's about the same level of violence as the new x-men film and that is a 12. I must be getting old.

It also doesn't seem to have an ending, the film starts, carries on, gets towards an ending and then just gives up and stops. That's the 80s for you mind, no depth :)

Bank holiday

Obviously involved walking (and some drinking, but let's ignore that) - Lady Bower and Derwent reservoirs were very nice

A tropical storm except without the heat

Well that's what it felt like last night anyway.

I got interviewed by the local paper last week about the Hadian's Wall walk, if you would like to see said small article in all its misquoted glory go to http://www.thestar.co.uk/news/Sponsor-plea-in-charity-trek.5207469.jp I hate journalists, but if it gets us some sponsorship it will have been worthwhile

I've been a bit slack

Sorry oh loyal readers for the lack of any posts exciting or otherwise recently, but I've been busy earning no money as a freelancer. When this situation changes I'll blog a bit more.

India

Jules and I have been in India for two weeks, it's mental and we are knackered. Here are just a few of the stupid number of photos we took. I might put some more up when I've had a chance to go through them all. So sometime next year then....
